You can check this out at my new website:
Hi guys! Just as the title says, I'll be moving to a new website using wordpress for my translations this time. It's been a wonderful journey with you guys using livejournal as my first ever translation site, and I want to thank all you commentors, readers, and those that liked the pages. You guys are the reason I update post after post.
I hope that the new website provides a cleaner and easier place for you to navigate through my works, and that all the people who comment can have their posts seen (i don't know why the livejournal settings don't display some of you guy's comments but I might just be bad at playing with the settings).
Anyways, hope to see you guys at my new website soon! I'm also introducing a new novel this week....IT'S MY REWARD TO YOU GUYS SINCE I DID GET A's ON MY LAST 2 FINAL EXAMS :)
I'll also be updating Rebirth of the Tyrant in a few days....anyways, everything is ahead of schedule for me since getting good marks.

Chapter 17 Broken Curse
Just as Joanna kissed the frog, the curse was broken.
Vivienne Eisbourg made a piercing scream, scaring the dragon that had immobilized her and causing it to leap back and loosen its grip.
At that moment, she was dragged to the ground by two dark shadows until she was swallowed up by an invisible dark vortex. Once the dragon had returned, the vortex had been closed, leaving behind the chaotic mess that resulted from the magical duel.
According to legend, the true love’s kiss of a princess can break the curse. This was actually true. Although the emphasis is on the kiss of true love, the power of loyalty can also be used to break the curse. It’s just that someone who has a royal lineage can greatly enhance the effect of the kiss, but the royal lineage can only ‘enhance’ the effect. With that logic in mind, if the King gave the kiss of true love himself, perhaps the magic to break the curse will be more powerful. On the other hand, the kiss of loyalty from a general could work, or even the kiss from a soldier or a knight.
While Joanna’s kiss, or a Witch’s kiss, had nothing to do with true love, it can also break a lot of curses and bestow a lot of blessings—because as witches they can use kissing to channel their magic. This method was ideal for breaking the curse; the more powerful the witch was, the more effective the spell.

Chapter 16: Kissed Frog
In fact, when Vivienne launched all of her attacks, Joanna was fully prepared, making the mad woman’s spells seem like they were hitting solid rock; it was quite a ridiculous scene.
However, Joanna didn’t dare to underestimate her enemy, having suffered a loss from her hands before. Instead she used her most powerful spells to respond to all of Vivienne’s attacks. Joanna had received her mother’s witch inheritance since the age of five and had trained in the arts for more than decade afterwards. Although she was still young at this time, Joanna was absolutely qualified to be considered a senior in her field. Vivienne, on the other hand, had only begun to practice black magic two years ago; she could only fumble on her own. Because she had no guidance from a master, her strength was further compromised. Only a short moment had passed before Vivienne overpowered and stepped on by the dragon.
“Impossible…..this is just impossible….
…Why is this happening!?”
Vivienne refused to believe that she could be beaten by the low class woman in front of her. Nothing seemed to be special about Joanna at all. “I clearly have the strongest Night Demons, how could I lose to such a vulgar woman?!”

Chapter 15: Wrath of a Witch
The mansion in the forest burned intensely, although the flame wasn’t the usual reddish hue, but rather a strange blue color.
Ian had no idea when the lizard within the mansion had turned into a flaming dragon the size of a stallion. The dragon began to destroy the mansion, effectively suppressing the mad woman who constantly attempted to break free from the dilapidating building.
The screams and curses of the residents did not cause any change to Joanna’s expression. She remained indifferent to the scene as she protectively held the frog in her hands. This was certainly not the first time that she used these forces.…and it won’t be the last time either.
Suddenly a person manage to rush out from the fire. Rather than the screaming Vivienne, it was the tough and grotesque “servant.” This “servant” who was nearly burnt to a crisp, had stumbled forth and fell before Joanna’s feet. His heavy breathing was like a fan that roused the flames of an iron stove while his throat could give out a weak voice.( Collapse )
Gong Che had only noticed Gong Jue’s presence when the bloodstained prince arrived at the inner palace begging for help; at that time, he felt quite jealous of the Ninth Prince’s martial arts. However Gong Che didn’t take his brother’s pleas for help seriously. Finally, when he followed the ragged prince and the crowd to the Cold Palace, he couldn’t help but feel shaken at the sight of the desolate courtyard. Gong Che frowned as he stared at the scattered blood on the ground.
The courtyard gate was left ajar, revealing the dimly lit Cold Palace; its yard was littered with corpses that intermingled with puddles of rain water, creating a hellish scene!
Under the dim lanterns, a girl who sat alone on the bench slightly moved. Her wet hair was dripping in front of her forehead. She raised her jade-white face when her gaze suddenly shot towards him like lightning.
Upon sensing her piercing gaze, Gong Che held his breath; his whole mind seemed to be drawn in to the girl, especially to her cold eyes!
He seemed to sense that the girl noticed him first sight, before resolutely turning to face the Emperor. This scene……caused his heart to palpitate.
How can there be such a girl in this world? She was different from everyone he has ever met—her sword was stained with blood and she boldly declared that it was her right to kill intruders!

Chapter 14: Waiting to be Saved
Ian couldn’t bear staying in the crazy woman’s lair for much longer.
Before he could see Joanna once again, Ian didn’t resist eating the meals provided by the mad woman; it was better to eat her food rather than starve to death, otherwise, he would have no chance to reunite with his goddess Joanna.
Vivienne kept him imprisoned in the room that was furnished according to his liking. Out of nowhere, the mad woman began to mutter incoherent words continually. Many of the words were unrelated, and yet she strung them together into sentences without reason. How could anyone comprehend her madness?
Suddenly, his goddess Joanna fell from the sky and directly shattered the window by the balcony. She proudly stood upon the debris while Vivienne glared at her with disdain. “You vulgar woman!” Vivienne’s stare was filled with madness and anger; even her tight grasp of the cage was forceful enough to suffocate a person….If he wasn’t in a cage, Ian believed that he would have been crushed by her hands.
Joanna had changed her attire for the trip. A dress wasn’t fit for such a venture, so she put on a pair of boots and pants, along with a black cloak full of blue runes. The small umbrella that she usually brought was replaced by a wooden staff.

Chapter 13: The Trapped Frog
Ian’s life once again fell into darkness.
The mad woman took him away and locked him up in a golden birdcage; she stared at him intensely, with a pleased and loving gaze. Such a gaze made him feel sick and disgusted. He could only turn his back and close his eyes, pretending not to see her shameless stare.
“I finally found you my Highness, my Prince…..” Vivienne smiled. “You belong to me my Prince. You are mine….mine alone!”
She took the birdcage to a mansion in the forest; the building was very old, yet very clean…..Ian wondered why it was so well maintained, until he finally saw a “servant” with a distorted face and distorted body.
“Go!” she kicked the servant heavily. “You’re too ugly. I created you so you can clean up the mess when I’m away, and what do you do? Instead you come into my sight and dare to pollute my eyes!”
Created…..This woman actually created such a terrible thing! Ian looked at the grotesque “servant” in horror, only to find that the servant had emotion…..On his distorted face, his eyes were wet and full of sadness—unimaginable sadness.( Collapse )
